Comment: When occurring as a grammatical object, personal pronouns are preceded by the object/oblique marking preposition ‘iɑ’ (Cablitz 2006:101). This element is not included in the object forms listed below as it is analysed and glossed by Cablitz (2006) as distinct from the set of personal pronouns. In addition, other than the second person singular and first person singular possessive forms listed below, no special possessive pronouns exist (Cablitz 2006:101). Rather, the possessive use of pronouns is marked periphrastically using the S/A/O forms as discussed in detail by Cablitz (2006:167 ff).
